Looking for delicious Korean food near Etobicoke north? Highly recommend this restaurant! My husband and I ordered LA kalbi and bulgogi - both were super tasty! Came with the usual sides of rice, kimchi (delicious), soup and an assortment of pickled veg. Server and cook (I assume owners) were very welcoming and kind. Food came to us within 10 minutes of ordering. We will be back for sure!

Solid Korean Japanese fare, generous portions, fresh fish and vegetables, flavours are spot on. This is a mom and Pop run joint, and if either mom or pop come to take your order be prepared to be a little patient due to the language barrier as their first language is Korean.
We had a bento box, sashimi don which came with gochijang sauce on the side and was huuge, and the tteokbokki with cheese. The sashimi don was very fresh, fresh fish and lots of fresh shredded veggies. The tteokbokki was reasonably sized but delicious - manageable spiciness level and balanced flavours (sometimes other places make it too sweet) and it came with a perfectly cooked egg (often they are overdone) and cabbage and fish cake.
Food was great but service was a little slow for refilling tea, but they were pretty busy on a weeknight.
Overall I would definitely recommend this place for the food! -

Definitely the go-to place in this area for good Korean food. (Their Japanese food is also good)
They are closed on Mondays. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and is really quaint and cozy inside. They have large tables as well as small booths with roll down shutters/curtains for privacy.
I have been here many times and have tried so many dishes but my favorite by far is their Grilled Mackerel and their Gamjatang (Pork Bone Soup). All of the banchan sides they provide are great too.
Service is good. Appears to be small and family owned. The vibe in the restaurant is always improved by the small table in the corner with the old Korean guys drinking and talking together :)
On top of the Korean dishes their Japanese food is also pretty decent, and I am happy their vegetable tempura comes with Pumpkin. Yum! -

Good food for a good price!
The food was pretty tasty but the meat quality seemed subpar. The chicken katsu had a really nice sauce and batter layer but the chicken was tough. This was the same case for the beef on the bento box as it was dry and tough despite the sauce tasting awesome.
The service was poor but my friend (who visits here often) said its unusual for this to happen. I'm willing to give this place a chance again but the service during my visit was not good. Messed up orders and forgot one too; didn't check up on us and forgot a lot of our requests. To be fair, it seemed like there was only 1 waiter that time. -

If you're looking for sushi this isn't the place to eat. The fish don't taste fresh. I ordered a sashimi platter and a Malado roll. The sashimi was disappointing but the roll was quite delicious. Malado Sushi is more of a Korean restaurant than it is a sushi spot. Overall it was underwhelming experience.
